Review of Three Great Italian Restaurants in Fort Worth, Texas by Fort Worth Hood Cleaning

Fort Worth TX Restaurant ItalianPiattello Italian Kitchen is the concept from owner Chef Marcus Paslay.  His goal was to create a seasonally-rotating meal featuring homemade breads, pastas and original Italian dishes.  They are located at 5924 Convair in Fort Worth, Texas.

Marcus graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 2006, located in Hyde Park, New York.  He traveled around the country working in some of the finest restaurants.  He picked up a love for fresh seafood when he worked in Alaska and then in Hawaii.

Prior to opening Piattello Italian Kitchen, he opened several restaurants that were critically acclaimed.  He has been featured on the television, magazines and newspapers.  He has over a four-star rating on the world wide web with over two hundred reviews.

Cane Russo is located at 815 W Magnolia in Fort Worth, Texas.  They are known for their unique pizzas made in a custom wood burning Italian style pizza oven that he built in his back yard.  His original restaurant was opened in Dallas and he now has one in Austin and one in Houston.Fort Worth Texas Restaurant Pizza Oven

Owner Jay Jerrier got the pizza bug when he visited Italy in 1995.  There he tasted his first Italian pizza and knew he had to bring this flavor back to the United States.  He found an organization that was dedicated to the Neapolitan style pizza called the Associazone Verace Pizza Napoletana and trained with the Master Pizzalolos.

After his training, Jay started a mobile catering oven in 2009 that quickly found a large loyal following.  As his popularity grew, Jay knew he would have to take it to the next level by opening the first Cane Rosso in Dallas in 2011.

Cane Russo uses special fresh dough using the “OO’ flour that is imported from Italy.  They ship in Marzano tomatoes to make their special hand-crushed sauce.  The mozzarella is pulled fresh every day to enhance its flavors.

This specialty pizza is cooked in only ninety seconds.  The pizza is meant to be eaten with a fork and a knife.  One should not expect the perfect round pizza and each pizza is crafted in its own shape.  This place has been a big hit with over twelve hundred positive posts online and over a four-star rating.

Fort Worth Texas Restaurant PhotoMancuso’s Italian Ristorante had its humble beginnings in February of 1987 when Cathy Mancuso started her dream.  Her father was a restaurateur in New York, so she grew up in the restaurant business.

Cathy moved to Texas and was surprised to see there were no real Italian restaurants.  The vision began to build, and she found the perfect place on White Settlement Road to open her authentic Italian restaurant Mancuso’s Italian Ristorante.  Even though it seemed to be located in the middle of nowhere, Cathy knew the area would grow over the years.

The growth that Mancuso’s Italian Ristorante was mostly due to word of mouth.  With families enjoying dinner there a couple of times of week, Mancuso’s enjoys a four plus star rating with over three hundred evaluations on the internet.
